Basketball Betting: Pacers’ Granger could return very soon
By Andrew Scott Thursday, 19 December 2013 01:45
Granger said that he targets Friday’s home game against the Charlotte Bobcats as he makes his recovery from a calf injury that this season didn’t let him play for the first 22 games. Basketball betting fans and price per head services saw that last year he was limited to five games due to a knee injury.
“There’s a very good chance, hopefully on Friday,” Granger said. “I’m conditioning my legs, getting my wind. The knee is not an issue at all. The calf is pretty good now.”
Price per head services are pretty sure that the Pacers are not committing themselves to the return as strongly after Granger had several setbacks during the last year. The team’s basketball betting fans were very concerned when they saw that Granger wasn’t able to play for three months last year due to patella tendinitis – then he came back for two weeks and again ended up being shut down. The player missed the rest of the season and needed surgery later on, worrying many of the player’s fans – especially those who follow his NBA and European basketball odds.
Granger injured his left calf in training camp and returned to action in some preseason games, but was set back and out for the last six weeks. Indiana initially expected the player to miss about three weeks. Now the team will try to avoid putting public expectations on the player.
“There’s no timeline for him,” Pacers coach Frank Vogel said.
Pay per head services and basketball betting fans saw that the Pacers played well since they lost Granger – last season they reached the conference finals with great NBA and European basketball odds, and this season they started an NBA-best 18-3. Granger, who in his career started 423 games for the Pacers, said that when he returns it will be as a reserve.

“Our starting lineup is doing well right now. I’ll have to get back into shape first,” Granger said. “The advantage I bring is I’ve been through it for many years. I’ve had the lead role and scored a lot of points. The playoff experience and the situation we’ll be in later down the line, the experience I bring will be invaluable.”
