Kell Brook to face Jo Jo Dan and defend his IBF welterweight title

Kell Brook to face Jo Jo DanKell Brook is set to defend his IBF welterweight title when he faces Jo Jo Dan in his first defence against the fighter, in a clash that online bookmakers believe should be very intense.

Brook was able to clinch the belt after beating Shawn Porter on points in August, and the fighter will return to the ring at home in Sheffield, when he faces the Romanian fighter in a mandatory battle on the 28th of March in a showdown that gets underway at the Motorpoint Arena.

The 28-year-old’s career was doubtful after he had a very serious injury to the leg when he was a victim of a machete attack, but he was quickly able to recover and will look to face his division’s most important fighters.

For 2015, a domestic clash against Amir Khan is right at the top of his list, while Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are also holding titles in this class, and online bookmakers would certainly not mind seeing Brook face the biggest names in the sport.

“It will be emotional, after winning the world title last year but then a few weeks later having an horrific knife attack,” said Brook.

Tyson Fury could take on Wilder instead of Klitschko

Tyson Fury against Deontay WildeTyson Fury said that he would think about taking on Deontay Wilder and not Wladimir Klitschko, but just if he gets the right amount of money, and fans all over the world can’t wait to see who he will face next. Bookmaker software services were looking forward to seeing the fighter eventually clash with Klitschko, but perhaps a fight with Wilder can prove to be just as exciting.

Fury made it to the mandatory spot for the Ukrainian’s WBO title, and the 26-year-old will be very busy as he gets ready to face Christian Hammer on the 28th of February.

However, Fury could have no choice but to wait for a chance to take on Klitschko, as the fighter is willing to put his titles on the line when he goes head-to-head with Bryant Jennings on the 25th of April in New York.

Wilder turned into a new champion last weekend, as he took the WBC belt away from Bermane Stiverne, and he showed that he was all set to take on the fighter from Wilmslow.

A clash between these big men, who on social media spewed insults at each other, is a possibility for Fury, but just if there’s an agreement on the right amount of money.

Ryder gets ready to prove himself against Sherrington

John Ryder gets ready to prove himself against SherringtonJohn Ryder is getting ready to face Les Sherrington in his bid to impress his opponents at middleweight, and sportsbook software services are anticipating a very intense battle in the ring.

The Islington fighter won four times after his undefeated record came to an end with a narrow points loss in 2013 to Billy Joe Saunders.

The 26-year-old was since able to get a shot at the world title, but he’s also moving up in the ranks and will move closer to a major shot for a title by trying to take out Sherrington at the 31st of January in a very important bill in London.

In the past two years, the Australian boxer, who was hardened by battle, won on eight occasions and was able to take on Sam Soliman all the way to fight’s ninth round before the past world champion stopped him.

“Sherrington is a great fight for me to start the year with a bang,” said Ryder.

“He has bags of experience and has a good record of knockout wins so I will need to be at my best. But I have been working hard over Christmas and am in great shape. I am looking forward to shining on January 31.”
