After England’s ashes victory, online cricket betting sources have seen that “The Sprinkler” has made a threat to sweep the dance floors after the England cricket team danced the jig to a very jolly crowd.
Having been described by Andrew Strauss, England captain, as their own version of the “Haka”, it is already a sensation in the internet with over 250,000 people having seen clips of the team dancing the jig, and online cricket betting sources had fun watching it as well.
Now, the rendition made on the hallowed turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground is being set to create a dancing craze. Thousands of clips of cricket fans imitating their heroes have been flooding the internet.
According to online cricket betting source, veteran cricket broadcaster Jonathan Agnew promised to dance it if England is able to win the series next month in the final Test taking place in Sydney.
The dance, which has ironically been invented in the 1980’s around Australian BBQ’s, involves holding out an arm while imitating a garden sprinkler’s rotation movement.
It has been discovered again by Paul Collingwood, England all-rounder, and has quickly been adopted by the team last month as they were getting ready for the tourney down under, sweeping the practice nets and the dressing room.
A video diary made by Graeme Swann, off-spinner, put a highlight to the “craze”, and soon after, many fans have been dancing the jig, and it has become so popular that when England ended up securing the victory, the crowd made a demand of a rendition, and the team obliged.
The victory dance sparked a very jubilant night for the team and their fans as they have been celebrating the fourth Test win by an innings and 157 runs.
The win has placed England up in the series by 2-1, which is an unassailable lead, and the current holders keep the Ashes even if Australia wins the final Test and ends up making a draw in the series, as reported by online cricket betting sources.
Many fans will be following the cricket odds on this.
Melbourne’s nightclubs and bars have been flooded with England players and fans, especially those fans that follow the cricket odds, in very joyful celebrations.
