Laurent Blanc delighted with the spirit shown by PSG

Laurent Blanc-PSGLaurent Blanc and PSG fans were very happy with the spirit shown by the team after they were able to effectively defeat Barca 3-2 in a very exciting showdown that impressed pay per head agents around the world.

For PSG, the season started out in a very mixed manner, and six of their nine games were drawn as the team moved into the meeting at home with the Catalan giants on Tuesday.

The team’s form, which many fans thought was very apathetic – to say the least – saw the coach get a lot of pressure, but the French champions made their season’s best performance when they beat Barca at the Parc des Princes, even though again they didn’t have the services of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is still having problems with an injury to the heel.

Many fans were impressed when they saw Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti, and David Luiz all score goals and take out Barca, and now Group F is controlled by PSG.

And the French manager was very eager to praise PSG for the team’s unity after a very exciting match in Paris.

“It was a great match, a great win,” said Blanc.

“We needed the points. The players were more focused and motivated than usual – all the ingredients were there for a great performance, but we still had to go out there and do it.

“I was convinced the team hadn’t lost all its virtues.

“The most important thing for me tonight was to show that we are still a team.”

Pay per head agents saw that on Tuesday, PSG’s first goal, which was scored by David Luiz, was what put an end to the stalemate after 10 minutes, and Blanc’s feelings on the attitudes shown by his new team-mates were echoed by the former Chelsea player who’s very well known in the football world for his great talent on the pitch.

“The team was excellent this evening. We hadn’t been playing our best recently, but tonight we saw the real Paris Saint-Germain. It was a fantastic night,” said the player.
