Nuno Espirito Santo, Valencia coach, praised his men after his team beat Getafe 3-0 on Monday, and price per head agents saw a fantastic performance by Nuno’s side.
Valencia started the season undefeated, and that run continued with their latest win over Getafe, as goals scored by Paco Alcacer and Andre Gomes in the game’s initial 20 minutes helped the team come out on top.
The win was sealed by Rodrigo with 18 minutes left in the game, when he scored a penalty before being sent off the field, as Nuno’s men made it to second place.
However, despite the team’s very nice standing, the coach– who was very happy with the win – stressed that it did not mean much at all this early in the season.
“We played a great game,” said Nuno.
“In the first half, we had scoring chances and we were efficient. It was a very deserved victory and we played well.
“Today we played a good, focused and efficient game. Our position in the table isn’t important right now [though].
“The sense of euphoria is over and we’re now thinking about the next match against Cordoba.”
After Rodrigo was sent off the pitch for receiving two yellow cards, the coach said that he was considering taking the 23-year-old away from the game earlier on.
But the coach said that the forward, who during the close-season was signed from Benfica, had too much to offer to the team’s forward game, something that many fans could clearly see.
“He was sent off and I was thinking about taking him off soon,” said the coach.
“But he gives us so much in the attack and at that moment, the play dictated that he needed to be on the pitch.”
Price per head agents saw the team make a fantastic performance, but they know that it’s still too early to tell how they’ll continue to do on the pitch. However, many fans out there are very confident that they’ll keep their good run of form, and believe that they’ll win many more matches as the season progresses.
