Juanfran does not want Atletico to be too confident against Real

Juanfran, full-back for Atletico Madrid who is admired by pay per head agents for his great skills on the pitch, said that his side should not have too much confidence when they take on Real Madrid on Saturday.
Both teams are set to face each other this weekend at the Santiago Bernabeu after an international break of two weeks.
This upcoming match will be both sides’ third meeting so far this season after they fought last month for the Supercopa de Espana, with Atletico winning the game on aggregate 1-0.
Carlo Ancelotti’s players gave away a lead of 2-0 and they ended up being beaten by Real Sociedad 4-2 in the team’s last outing for La Liga. Many of Real’s fans won’t forget the disappointment after this very unfortunate loss, and want to see them turn things around on the pitch – and very quickly.
29-year-old Juanfran now believes that the time is perfect for Atletico to take out Real, and many experts believe that the player could be right, but also know that they have to keep their eyes open at all times when facing their rivals.
However, the player does not take anything for granted and stressed that an easy moment to face Real simply does not exist.
“We never get too over-confident at this club, whether it’s against Real Madrid or anyone for that matter,” he said.
“We play the game to win and leave the confidence in the dressing room. The derbies are always evenly matched. The Madrid fans already see us through different eyes.
“If we play well then hopefully we can win at the Bernabeu, as we have done before.
“To win in Madrid, you must do everything well. We will continue to play our game knowing full well how difficult it is to win at the Bernabeu.”
Atletico’s fans and pay per head agents also know that the team should not fall into the trap of complacency and overconfidence when they face Real, and know that they must be very alert when facing them.
