Massimiliano Allegri wants Juve to bounce back

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri and many price per head agents want to see the Turin giants qualify from Group A of the UEFA Champions League even though Greek side Olympiacos beat them on Wednesday.
The champions of the Serie A lost 1-0 for a second time in a row in this competition due to a goal scored by Pajtim Kasami at the Karaiskakis Stadium in the first half of the game.
Olympiacos turned to keeper Roberto, who was able to make a great performance in the second half to beat Juve.
In Group A, the Turiun side are now sitting in third place behind Atletico Madrid and Olympiacos, but Allegri, the team’s coach, wants to see them advance.
“I’m full of optimism and I’m convinced we’ll manage to go through.” said the coach, and many fans are also very optimistic that they’ll see the team make it far in this competition.
But Allegri knows that Juve must improve if they want things to change for the better.
“We didn’t play well in the opening period. We were stretched and unable to get at them high up the pitch. Technically we were poor.” said Allegri.
“We fell behind but then after the break we pushed up more. We need to improve in certain areas, against teams like this who chase and harry a lot. Even if you’re not on your game, you can’t let them have three or four breaks like we did.
“They pressed us a lot and the whole team generally found it hard. We needed to show more movement when we were in possession but we didn’t do that.”
The coach said: “Unlike some other players, I think Andrea needs to be playing to find his best form. I thought he would be key to slowing down the tempo of our opponents.
“In any case he’ll soon be bang on form again. He has a starring role to play for us in Serie A and our Champions League campaign.”
Juve’s fans are confident that the team will bounce back and go very far in the Champions League, but there are many experts who believe that perhaps the team should be a bit more determined on the pitch.
