Vincenzo Montella, Fiorentina manager, said that Mario Gomez was a “great player” before making his move from Bayern Munich, and the player’s fans, especially those who closely follow his career and soccer odds, are also very well aware of what a great talent he is.
Fiorentina’s soccer betting fans were very happy to learn that the club agreed on a deal to bring Gomez on Monday to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The Germany international striker who makes very good soccer odds is expected to go through a medical and agree on personal terms before being unveiled on Thursday as a Fiorentina player.
Montella, who last season led the club to fourth place in Serie A with great soccer odds, feels that after the deal their supporters can hope for more success.
“It’s only right that they dream,” the ex-Italy international said.
“We know that it’s going to be hard, but it’s right that the fans dream because if you can’t dream, then there’s not much left. Certainly only what happens on the field will show whether this side are capable of repeating what we achieved last season, and then we can look further.
“Everybody knows he’s a great player and that we’re delighted to get him. We hope to impress again, both in terms of results and the way we play. That is what I hope for.”
Many soccer betting fans are certain that the player will link up front with Giuseppe Rossi, despite speculation that the club will sign another forward if Stevan Jovetic happens to be sold.
However, Montella refuses to be drawn on the gossip, and many fans that follow the club’s soccer odds are also paying no attention to the rumours.
“We’ll have to see,” he added.

“You can always improve your squad so I always expect the best and the most, but let’s take things one step at a time for now. The first step should be the official announcement of Gomez.”
