Crystal Palace’s fans and sports software services were thrilled to learn that the club decided to re-sign a 21-year-old Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United on loan until the season comes to an end.
Before the 2013-14 season, the very talented winger, who many pundits believe has the potential to become a rising star in the sport, made his move from Palace to United for a fee that was undisclosed.
However, Zaha – under the guidance of new United manager David Moyes – was only able to feature four times in all matches, and this disappointed many fans, as they were sure that if given the chance, he could have done a great job for the team if he featured more, and believe that this could have boosted his morale.
Sports software services remember that in January, the player moved to Cardiff City on loan, but he was again unable to impress on the pitch – leaving many unhappy fans – with only five starts in the Premier League as the Welsh club ended up being relegated, and the player’s future in the sport was also put in doubt – especially by some of the fans.
After Tony Pulis left the club, Neil Warnock was appointed by Palace on Wednesday as the one to take his place, and a day later the manager said that he spoke to with the player about the possibility of him going back to Palace.
Zaha was thrilled on Thursday after confirmation of the deal broke out, and so were the player’s fans.
“I’m just buzzing to be back, to be in and around the lads again,” he said.
“There have been rumours for a while, but it was only yesterday that it got sorted out and I was happy it got sorted out ASAP because I just need to get out and play.
“The best place to come back to is Palace where I am loved.
“Speaking to my family and my agent, they knew I would be comfortable coming back here because I’ve got the support of the fans and the club.
“When I come back here I know I can just get straight back into it.”
