Ancelotti says that Ronaldo will stay at Real Madrid until the end of his career

Carlo AncelottiCarlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid manager, stressed that Cristiano Ronaldo – famous all over the world with fans and pay per head agents for his amazing skills on the pitch – won’t go back to Manchester United and will hang up his boots at the Bernabeu.

The holder of the Ballon d’Or became famous at United, as the Portugal international was able to win three titles in the Premier League, the FA Cup, as well as the UEFA Champions League in the six years that he spent there.

Ronaldo was since able to strengthen his legacy as one of the world’s top players in the time that he spent at Real, and this season the player is in great form, as in only seven games in La Liga he was able to score 15 goals.

But there was plenty of talk about the player looking to go back to United, with Ronaldo himself saying that one day he could be traded and go back to the Premier League side.

However, Ancelotti does not see that as an option at all, and said that the club gets along great with the player.

“Everyone can be changed and replaced but Ronaldo is the best player in the world. If he left Madrid it would be a huge loss,” he said.

“But that won’t happen because he will end his career in Madrid.

“I am 100 per cent sure Ronaldo won’t be at Manchester United next season, 100 per cent. I can’t be wrong because he is happy in Madrid. Everyone wants to be here.

“The club is delighted to have the best player in the world. At the moment the relationship between club and player is perfect.

“So I don’t think that is going to change. Ronaldo will end his career at Real Madrid.”

Pay per head agents know that the issue of Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid or staying at the club is still subject to plenty of speculation, and would like to see what the player will ultimately decide to do.
