Price per Head Agents: Taarabt could feature for QPR when they face Chelsea

Harry RedknappHarry Redknapp will think about getting Adel Taarabt recalled for QPR’s game on Saturday against the Blues after coming to friendly terms with the player, something that many price per head agents believe could prove to be very important for the team’s upcoming match.

Earlier during the month, Redknapp took part in what was a public quarrel with the Moroccan player, as he said that he was “three stone overweight” and wasn’t fit enough for first-team action.

The player answered what he said when he posed topless in an interview with a newspaper, and he put in question the tactics used by the manager. However, all seems to be fine between them now, and the player could be called back to hit the field this weekend for the game at Stamford Bridge.

“I had a great chat with Adel,” said the coach. “He wants to get fit and back in the team. He’s worked very hard in training this week.

“Adel admitted he needs to get fitter and work harder and he’s told me he’s going to do that. That’s all I want. He will be training with us again this morning and as soon as he’s fit, I’m sure he’ll be a valuable player for us.

“Adel might be involved this weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to put him in the squad. Let’s wait and see who’s available, but Adel’s the kind of player who could change the game for us, so let’s see.”

Rio Ferdinand won’t be able to feature for QPR since the player has been banned for three matches after an offensive message was posted by him on twitter, and this would be the first game of the ban.

The manager did not want to speak about the details before he gets written evidence, but he did say that Ferdinand, who before his suspension lost his position in the QPR squad, wants to get his place back.

“Rio understands and accepts being on the bench,” said Redknapp. “He’s a great pro, he’ll be patient and work as hard as always.”

As he gets ready to take on “the best team in the country”, Redknapp still doesn’t have the services of defenders Clint Hill and Nedum Onuoha, and they’re also missing Jordon Mutch and Joey Barton

However, price per head agents learned that Shaun Wright-Phillips, who scored the team’s winning goal against the Blues, will be available for action, as Redknapp said that the player rejected “one or two opportunities to go on loan”.
