Soccer Odds: Conte reaffirms his commitment to Juventus

antonio-conte-juventus-coachFans that follow Juventus’ soccer odds were very pleased to learn that Antonio Conte remains committed to the team after they ended the Serie A season with a 3-2 away loss to Sampdoria.

Soccer betting fans saw that earlier this month, Conte, who is contracted until 2015 to Juventus, guided the team to their second consecutive Scudetto.

Conte spoke about his intention to stay at Juve after talks with the club’s owners, and wants to build on his outstanding achievements with great soccer odds.

“I didn’t need convincing, just to confront our plans and make sure they matched. I haven’t extended my contract, nor adjusted my wages, as those were not important to me,” Conte said.

“We want to build something here. Inter (Milan) won the treble and then ground to a halt, but that is not our objective.”

Soccer betting fans found out that in the off-season, Juve will receive a boost with the arrival of Spain centre-forward Fernando Llorente, and they were also linked with moves for Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez and Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain – players well known for their talent and great soccer odds – but Conte would not be drawn to those rumours.

“Gonzalo Higuain or Tevez? I like them, but I also like Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar,” he said.

“You can throw in many names, but what counts is the balance sheet. We must figure out how to spend wisely.

“I think you should be giving credit to my guys for what they did on the pitch this year. Talking about the market right now does not seem respectful to them,” he told reporters.

In the meantime, Sampdoria coach Delio Rossi said the next season he will likely be without the services of Mauro Icardi.

“I know that I will lose some players and if Icardi receives an important offer then he will leave Sampdoria,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“As far as I know, unfortunately, the offers have come in.”

Saturday’s win with very good soccer odds means that this season Sampdoria gathered maximum points against Juventus, but Rossi played down the importance of the task for his side, who last term secured their top-flight status after being promoted from Serie B.

“Juve’s quality is beyond doubt, so it’s probably a coincidence that we won both games against them,” Rossi.

“It remains a great achievement to have beaten the champions of Italy.”
