Martinez believes that Everton should win with their performances

Roberto Martinez, Everton managerRoberto Martinez, Everton manager, feels that the 2-0 loss suffered by his side at the hands of Arsenal did not match the way that they’re performing, and white label sportsbooks can see that many fans are frustrated by what seems to be bad luck on the pitch.

The Gunners were able to score near the end of both halves thanks to Olivier Giroud and Tomas Rosicky, sealing the points, and leaving Everton with only one win out of their 11 games in the Premier League.

But Martinez saw Everton’s performance as an encouraging one, and believes that all that the team has to do right now is to win.

“I thought we controlled the game well, I thought we defended Arsenal very well,” said the manager.

“The disappointment is to concede a goal from a dead-ball situation [Giroud’s goal having come from a corner]. That is something that you can affect a bit better.

“The scoreline does not reflect what happened on the pitch, and that is positive.

“That could be, from our point of view in terms of individual performances and the way that we performed in the second half, the story of our season in the league, and we need to change that.

“In football you play for results and unfortunately, at the moment, we are not getting what we deserve.”

In the league, Everton are now ranked at 14th place, something that many fans are not taking very well, but they try to keep up their optimism.

The manager accepts the fact that Everton are currently in a relegation fight, but the Spaniard stresses that is the case of any team that is yet to make it to the mark of 40 points.

Martinez added: “It is always a relegation scrap for any team until you get to 40 points, that is the nature of our league.

“We just want to win games consistently and create momentum.

“Today the performance did not give us a reward in the result, and that is something that has happened too many times this season.”

Everton’s fans hope to see things change for the team, and wonder what is going on with them. Many believe that it could simply be bad luck, or other factors could be involved. Whatever the reason, white label sportsbooks are confident that Everton will continue to work through their struggles, and would like to see the team bounce back – hopefully soon enough.
